Saturday, July 28 marks our 50th Anniversary!


Join us for a Block Party Celebration


Saturday, July 28 - 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM

on Summit Ave between morris Ave 7 Oakland Pl.


The party takes place in the building, on the street and in the Middle School parking lot across the street. Festivities include

  • Displays of new and vintage emergency response apparatus and equipment
  • Antique ambulances, antique police car, Summit’s 1927 Chemical Engine
  • Several specialty response vehicles
    • Medical Ambulance Bus
    • Mass Casualty Response Unit
    • Off road rescue units
    • Summit’s Special Operations trailer
    • Police Segways
    • Union County Mounted Police
  • Fly over of 2 med-evac helicopters
  • Demonstrations of EMS and rescue procedures
    • Major incident response, fire scene rehab, EMS bike team
  • Activities and games for the kids
  • Safety demonstrations, including Overlook Healthy Avenues Bus, Summit Fire Safety & smoke house trailer
  • Food from local restaurants
  • Music

NOTE: The Summit Ave Extension from Morris Ave. to Oakland Pl. will be closed on July 28.
