Members of the Summit First Aid Squad will join the Summit Police Department and various other public safety agencies at Summit’s annual National Night Out Against Crime on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 from 6PM to 9PM at the Village Green.

National Night Out is a community-building event that takes place annually on the first Tuesday in August. Featuring a variety of municipal, county, state, and federal-level agencies, National Night Out provides a chance for community members to view displays and demonstrations by Union County SWAT, NJ State Police and K-9 along with Summit Police, Summit Fire Department, Summit Volunteer First Aid Squad, and the Division of Public Works.

At 6:00 PM, food trucks will be available and entertainment will begin. The Circus Time circus will be performing at 6:15 PM followed by the annual Blessing of the Badges at 7:00 PM. The band Twice Heard will perform on the main stage from 7:15 PM to 8:45 PM. Free hot dogs will be provided at Summit PAL food cart.

Summit’s 2021 National Night Out is co-hosted by the Summit’s Police Department, Department of Community Programs and sponsored by the Summit PAL.
